Bill McDavid is a 1973 graduate of the University of Florida. He received his CPA certificate in 1978 and is licensed to practice public accounting in the state of Florida. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), the tax division of the AICPA, the Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc., the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Estate planning Council of Gainesville and the management of Accounting Practioners Roundtable of Gainesville. He is a past President of the North Central Florida Chapter of the FICPA.

Bill's experience encompasses federal and state taxation, financial and estate planning, litigation support, business valuations, business sales and acquisitions, business consulting and auditing of private companies and local governments. Bill has over 30 years of diversified accounting and tax experience and his most valued business knowledge and technical ability has been gained over the years by serving the diverse needs of the firm's clients in a continuing changing business environment.

Bill has been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential by the AICPA. The PFS credential recognizes CPA's with considerable professional experience in financial planning. Currently, 3,400 CPA's hold the PFS credential, which represents approximately 1% of the total AICPA membership.

Bill earned the coveted Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation in 1996 from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) after intensive study and passing a stringent examination.

Bill is registered with the State of Florida Department of Financial Services as an Investment Advisor Representative of McDavid & Company, CPA's.

In addition to providing professional services to the firm's clients in his area of expertise, Bill manages the Company and is responsible for the internal operations of the firm and practice development.

Suzannah Gudmundsen has been a resident of Florida since 1973. She graduated with high honors from the University of Florida in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She was licensed as a certified public accountant in 1982 and began her career with McDavid & Company in the same year.

Before joining our firm, Suzannah was employed by the Office of the Auditor General , where she was primarily involved in audit field work of State and County Agencies. Since joining our firm, she audited municipalities, governmental grants, non-profit organizations, and private companies. Suzannah also provides accounting and tax services to our small business clients and individuals. Additionally she provides assistance with business valuations and litigation support services.

Nora Rockwell graduated from Florida International University in 1976, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Science Management in 1982. She was licensed as a certified public accountant in the state of Florida in 1981.

Nora's experience has been in private and public accounting. She was employed by International Telephone and Telegraph, Burger King Corporation and Coopers and Lybrand before joining McDavid & Company. Since joining our firm in 1984, she has prepared compiled and reviewed financial statements on an as needed basis for our clients. Nora also provides Accounting and Tax services to our small business clients and individuals.

Colin Amerson joined McDavid & Company in October, 2006, in the position of Staff Accountant. Colin received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in August, 2005. He was licensed as a certified public accountant in 2007.

Since joining our firm, Colin has prepared federal tax returns for both corporations and individuals. He has also helped to prepare compiled financial statements.

Bert Toner has been a resident of Florida since 1979. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida, Fisher School of Accounting Masters program in May 2007.He was named the University of Florida's Outstanding Scholar in year 2007, by the Warrington College of Business Administration and the Outstanding Master of Accounting Student by Fisher School of Accounting for his exemplary academic performance. Additionally, Bert was recognized with the "2007 Student Achievement Award" from the National Federation of Accounting Schools, the accrediting organization of Accounting Graduate Programs, in recognition of superior academic achievement, leadership, and professionalism during his post-baccalaureate accounting education. He was licensed in Florida as a certified public accountant in August, 2007.

Kathy Siegle joined McDavid & Company in 1994 and manages our client Accounting Department. She has over 25 years experience providing accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services. Kathy prepares all monthly financial statements for our small business clients and assumes responsibility for preparing all federal and state payroll tax returns. She also prepares federal returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals.

Additionally, Kathy serves as our Computer Network Manager and maintains our software library.

Susan J. Blasberg has been a resident of Florida since 2003. She graduated from Ohio State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She was licensed as a certified public accountant in 1985 in the state of Texas and in 1992 in the state of Wisconsin. She is currently in the process of meeting the requirements for the CPA designation in the state of Florida.

Susan's experience has been in both private and public accounting. She was employed by Arthur Anderson and Company, HEI Publishing, Inc., Nyholm & Associates, and Bosshardt Realty Services, Inc. prior to joining McDavid & Company in 2007 as a staff accountant. Since joining the firm, Susan has been responsible for preparing federal tax returns for both corporations and individuals.

Lindsay M. Sanscrainte joined McDavid & Company in 2004. She handles our front reception area and manages the administrative affairs of the office. She is trained in the use of computers and specialized software. These skills are necessary in today's high tech office environment to produce professional reports, statements and correspondence for our clients.

Jane Tyrie joined McDavid & Company in 2008 and assists with our reception area. She has years of experience in professional firms and is trained in the use of computers and specialized software. Jane is assisting the firm with transitioning to a paperless office and is handling the maintenance of our electronic filing system.
